I did finish this connection at home. The first connection I made was not to my satisfaction. So I started again. I am satisfied with the second connection I made. However it still could better.
Practise makes perfect I think.
| We have learned how disassemle the bench plane, how to wet the chisel and then reassemble it without damaging the chisel. Than the real work started. We will make a cutting board. We start from scratch. Five boards has to be glued together. Before that there is a lot of planing to do to make sure each board has a good fit together. On the end of the class we left the class leaving something behind what is going to give an idea that this will become a cutting board. |  |
Wonder how this will look next week when we remove the clamps.
