We had a great day

It will take some more time before the garden bench will be finihed.
One of the reasons is that in a week from Friday we will attend a workshop in Apeldoorn. Again with Chris Malcomson. This will be the fourth workshop we will follow with Chris. This time we are going to make a tray with marquetry. I am looking forward to this workshop.

A meeting on october 11, 2014
For the third time now we had a meeting with the OnLineMiniClub. The meeting was last Saturday. I've been looking forward to it for a long time. Especially because last year I only could hop inn for a short time because of illness. This year we again have spoiled each other terribly.

I made some jam jars. Thinking how to present it was the biggest challenge. Finally on the Internet I found an appropriate print. Putting only a jam jar in this package was a very pathetic sight. So to fill the box a bit more I also made an iron box.

This is an overview of all the gifts that we have made for each other.

Roelie had a great idea for a workshop that day. Make a nice scene in a teacup. Ofcourse, that did not come off. After all we had to take some time to have some chit chat. Or just a moment to sit and enjoy the presence of all . Eat delicious fpie that Brigitte had taken from our beautiful province of Limburg.

As a kind of a sneak peak I show a photo of my teacup in august. I did start earlier with this project. All I did last saturday was lay a bit of grass. There is still al lot to do before this project is finished. Maby I will finish this project before Christmas.
