Workshops to finish, The Quilt, part 3

Changing Plans or not?

First the photo where I did end after our third web meeting yesterday. By threading the hexagons I've now got so much skill that the threading goes fast.
After making the agreed homework two weeks ago I had come this far.
The change plans feeling came after I received the order I placed by Gelrebloem. An internetshop that sells quilt fabrics.
Seeing  all the beautiful fabrics that were in the packets seemed to make a Christmas quilt for me a challenge. But as Thea wrote: " in the context of finishing the projects large or small "  , I decided to finish the quilt with my blue fabrics first.
I also ordered a thimble. The thimble seems to me to be useful by finishing the quilt. I think it is called by the stab stitch.

Now the colored hexagons are ready I did collect and cleanup the colored fabrics. I do store the fabrics in a binder.
And so it looks how I gathered my fabrics. Each piece of fabric in a folder sleeve. Nice and clear.

I'm happy how far I am, the quilt-homework done, the fabrics tied up, I can pick up another little class again.

In two weeks more quilt news,
Krin
