Making dovetails with a craft knife or jigsaw

Paula was here. One of the members of our Dutch On Line Miniature Club. We do have the same addiction.
That means not only making miniatures. It is more. We do both prefer to make miniatures out of wood.
In the past I learned how to make dovetails in miniature.
Now Paula also know how to make them in 1 inch scale. Not as learned at our cabinetmakers course with hamer and chisel but with a craft knife.

Two days ago I started making dovetails with a jigsaw. I'm making a small box that will be placed in a geocache hotel.
Here, can optionally be laid in left geocoins. So the next geocacher can take this coin again to make a further travel to a next geocache.

Of now to finish the box,
Krin

Spring Cleaning

A definition of Spring Cleaning:
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Spring cleaning is the practice of thoroughly cleaning a house in the springtime.

I wrote about this prject aproximadamente 18 months ago. You can find that story here:
Hunneschans de Duno
and here:
Geocaching, a year later
Maintenance required !

Maintenance had to wait a little longer than was planned. But now it was really time for it.
By the humid weather the floor came up. Spiders and earwigs have used over the past 18 months this outhouse as a home. But housekeeping was not that job where they were engaged with.

We have occupied us with the spring cleaning. From now on the geochachers, who will find this cache, will find a tidy little outhouse.   As long as nature let it clean.

This is how you will find the house when it is placed back on its usual spot.
Enjoy Geocaching!!!!!!
