A swap, some things made and a buy

It is already a week ago.
We came home late in the evening and did a check if there was anything in the mailbox. We didn't think there would be anything in the mail for us that day but you never know. Lucky me........ there was an enveloppe in the mailbox and it was addressed to me. It came from Denmark.
I did agree with Annie from Obsedian Hall to do a swap. But didn't expect that the mail would be so quick.

Annie wrote te me that if I was interested in swapping a bikerack and a bottlerack for some of her miniatures I just had to let her know. So I did. I love the vintage mini's she makes. I choose for the following:
The two vintage jars are looking so real. The ladies collection is a tray with lots of gorgeous things in it. I love them both.
Thank you Annie for doing this swap together.
It will take a while before I can show you but I already have an idea where to use these beautiful mini's.

The last couple of weeks I had so now and than time making some mini's.
I couldn't resist to solder some more. So I made this basket.

I did finish this (half scale) wicker laundry basket.
And I couldn't resist to buy a Solex. However the bikerack is not ready yet, still needs some painting, there had to be a bike parked I though. When I saw the Solex I knew it right away. This piece of history even fits better with the old bikerack than a bike itself.
I bought this Solex in "de werelwinkel". This shop sells things made by people out of South Africa. They make all kinds of things from recycled materials. In this way they can provide them self in their living.
