The wedding dress

I already wrote about it a few times. Together with my mini-friend Marilo we decided to follow a workshop by Hazel Dowd.

I did have my doubts. Working with fabric is not really my thing. Strange when you consider that my mother is a dressmaker.
For me it was quit a challenge. I learned some totall new techniques. But I managed to make a beautifil 1:12th scale wedding dress as you see.

As you see there is also a half scale mannequin on the pictures. Hazel managed to find for me this half scale mannequin. She even was so kind to draw a pattern for me. I even cope to dress this tiny mannequin.

She will get a lovely place in the Bickersgracht.
