The year 2010
About Materials
By this I mean mainly waste - materials that will be thrown away by 'normal' people.
How did we actually collect these residual materials?
In part, that was easy. We throw so much away in the household that you soon discover that:
a cigarette lighter houses at least 20 small parts
a deodorant roller conceals a beautiful lampshade
that pill trips in its many sizes and shapes could serve many things
the wood of empty cigar boxes were very popular
after the turn of the year firepile wood were collected
the flea markets was a treasure island of cheap materials.
This is even not the end of the list. I could go on and on.
At that time we did a lot of shifting back and forth with residual materials. Someone who did not see anything in waste from injection needles sent it to someone who knew how to make something beautiful with the parts.
Back to the anniversary. Well I can tell you that 2010, the year we are in this jubilee story, was a great busy craft year. Another eleven workshops were held this year. Made up and given by only members.
