Clotheshorse

For the woodworking course I thought why not make a clotheshorse.
As our grandmother did years and years ago. Some wet towels or some wet clothes hanging on a clotheshorse near the wood stove.

Of course I did start with a one inch scale one. Do you see it? On the wood stove, that tiny wooden 'wasrek' as called in Dutch.

This was a job with a lot of thinking. And at the end not forget to mount the hook.
I managed it again. A nice piece of workmanship though I say it myself.

Drilling all the holes

Using a belt saw for the next step.

A lot of sanding to make the holes smooth.

Saw the wedge by hand and glue them in place,

then saw them with a Japanese saw flush with the wooden uprights.

With this as the end result.

Now it is time to start with some mini things.
