Last Sunday

I went to the fair in Eindhoven.
A small but cozy fair. I had to bring some goods to Thea from Minidoor.

This gave me the opportunity to make a short walk around the fair. Actually I needed anything at this time. Thea reminded me that Leo Reijnders was there also. He is a miniature glass blower. I did make a bottle rack for him. He gave the bottle rack to his wife for here dollshouse.
I still have the prototype. Not the best rack I made. However nice to keep.
Wouldn't it be nice to put some square bottles in it. So that is what I did. I bought four bottles from Leo.

On our way home hubby asked me if that was not something for me. Learning to be a miniature glass blower. He was amazed at the beautiful work of Leo.
That reminded me that somewhere in the messages list of my blogspot, under concepts, I do have a miniature Bucket List. So I told hubby what I did wrote once on this list. Which course or workshop I would like to follow.
-Woodworking course
-Silversmithing
-Blown glass
This are just a few of the things on that list.
Hubby told me that it was time for me to start with one of them. That he did not have to say twice.

Next month I will start with the woodworking course. Can't wait to go.
The chisels are almost packed to take with me. We are told that  the first class we also will learn how to sharpen our chisels. That's great.  I do think that I have enough blunt chisels in the house.
