Woodwork or would work

Somewhere I did read that Yew (Taxus baccata) is a great wood to do some lathe with. Last year I collected a few branches.
A few days ago the weather was great and I put the lathe outside on a workbench. I tried to turn some vases and pots. I am not dissatisfied with the outcome. Although some more practice will be needed.


To show you how small the turning is, I have placed a pencil next to it.
