Modern Furniture

Waiting for a book you have ordered can take some time. Also in this case. On the site of Casey's mini I saw the book 'How to Build Modern Furniture'. I did ordered this. Here's the waiting for.

In the meantime I found a pattern of the easy chair that also is illustrated in this book. I immediately started to make the chair.
First I did a bit of calculation. The chair will be made in half scale.
Then find the right wood. Because this is a test I used wood from a cigar box. Not the easiest type of wood. But it's well done I think.
Yesterday I finished the chairs.


And today? Today the book arrived. There will follow some more 'modern furniture' in the near future I think.
