Something to read please

I don't know where it comes from. But occasionally when I am busy with mini-making I hear a voice. It goes like: “Give me something to read. Please ........”. I always thought that it was Sam (my dog). So I gave him something to read:

But no it wasn’t Sam.

Last week there was this sound again: “Give me something to read ...... Please.” At that moment, I was working in my shack, that's the place where all my project are. It couldn't be Sam (the shack is on the first floor and he is not allowed to walk the stairs). Maybe it is someone in one of the houses, but which one? Did it came from 'the Bickersgracht' where on this moment just Brother John is living? But Brother John is always sleeping…. Or was it 'the old Shed', no, can’t be because granddad is out for dinner. Mayby 'the living room corner'….. Nobody there. Then there is 'the Shop on the Corner'. But that one is under construction so it is unoccupied at the moment. The princess and the pea' maybe? No that can't be it. The princess is too busy looking under the bed, trying to find the thing that gave her the bad night rest. Didn't know I have some many projects already, LOL.

What to do? I could make some books. Readable books of course. But what size would the books have to be. I started making 1" scale books when I was thinking about 'the Bickersgracht'. Mmmm ..... readable books in 1/2"scale? Why not? This kept me busy this week.

In the mean time I was thinking where to put all the books. Then I remembered that I do have some plastic furniture. Wasn't there a bookcase too? So I've been digging in some boxes and there it was. Putting all these little books on the shelves was a lot of work. Hopefully it will be appreciated. For the time being I placed the bookcase in the living room to be from 'Brother John'.

I have to admit. I did some cheating. There are some wooden books too.
I hope no-one will complain.
